This post is dedicated to the young ones and even the old ones.
I shall be giving out 4 simple ways you can use to create a tub for storing(pencils, pens, brushes, etc).
Let's get started.................
You will need:
1. Cardboard containers
2. Newspaper
3. Glue
4. Paint
5. Glitter
6. Paint-brushes
7. Scissors
After all these are available we can kick-start with the process
Process:
Use paint and glitter to decorate the storage tub. Choose a cylinder-shaped container to recycle it into a tub and cover it with a layer of papier mache to make it stronger and provide a good surface to decorate.
Step 1
Start by covering the container with a layer of newspaper squares, glued on. Cover the container and leave it in a warm, airy place to dry.
Step 2
When the papier mache is completely dry, paint on a base coat and allow it to dry. You may need two coats of paint.
Step 3
Paint on the fish and seaweed, using one colour at a time. Don't forget to paint on some air bubbles above the fish.
Step 4
When the paint is dry, spread glue on areas you want to glitter and sprinkle on the glitter. Do this one colour at a time and leave it to dry between colours.
N.B: Before you begin, give the cardboard container a quick wash. Stand it upside down to drain and then dry it with a clean towel.
